This tour looks at two neighborhoods filled with historic and new brick buildings. Hyde Park has long been celebrated as home to architectural treasures. On this tour you’ll learn how the masonry makes the buildings what they are! Then, the tour will pop over to Hyde Park’s neighbor, Washington Park. Washington Park is home to some incredible brick, greystones, and terra cotta, including one of my favorite new buildings - the Green Line Performing Arts Center.
