12''x12'' Uptown Theatre

34.00

Only one available! Printed on super high quality pearl photo paper.

Chicago’s Uptown Theatre was built in 1925 for the Balaban and Katz movie palace chain. The theatre has over 4,000 seats and hosted movies, theatrical productions, and live concerts until its closure in 1981. These beautiful bricks cover the sides and back of the theatre structure and are a lovely example of diapering - bricks laid to create geometric patterns.
